AdCombo review - Is this CPA network any good?

AdCombo review
AdCombo review

AdCombo is a CPA network founded in 2014. Chances are you have come to our blog because you are considering joining them. If so, I hope my review will help you make the right decision.

As I wanted to share with you a real experience, I had signed up as their affiliate. Therefore, now I can narrate you what I have discovered about them.

How to get your AdCombo account approved

As you can see in the following screenshot, there are three steps to get your publisher account approved.

AdCombo registration process
AdCombo registration process

The first step was super easy. The registration form didn't contain any unnecessary fields so it was a question of a while to complete it. Then I received an email asking me to confirm my email address. After clicking the confirmation link I got another message from them saying:

You will soon be contacted by our support manager via skype or email. Please be ready to provide a brief description of your CPA marketing experience, along with a few screenshots of confirmed revenue from other affiliate networks.

The next day I received a Skype message from my affiliate manager, María. We had a short conversation and then she activated my affiliate account.

Now I was able to access the members' section. So I signed in trying to find out how I could make money with the AdCombo offers.

How to make money with AdCombo offers

In the affiliate dashboard I ordered all the offers by EPC. It seems some of them are really profitable. As you can see in the following screenshot, the best one had the EPC almost $2.

As you can also note, the majority of this top 10 falls into the health and beauty vertical.

In total, I found 1,171 offers to choose from. While the majority of them target only one country, there are also advertisers who accept worldwide traffic or traffic from almost all countries. They themselves say on their website that they are focusing on 2-tier countries. As I could verify, most advertisers (although not all) are targeting these countries.

So if you are able to get traffic interested in this niche products and services and your visitors come mostly from the 2-tier countries, AdCombo may be a good option for you.

They may be also a good option for you if you are a native Spanish speaker and your English is limited. In my case, neither English nor Spanish is my first language. However, as I live in Spain and their system probably detected correctly my country, María, my affiliate manager, from the first moment talked to me Spanish. I can imagine it would be a big advantage for me if I were unable to communicate in English.

Payment methods & minimum payout

The minimum payout amount is $50 for all payment methods except the wire transfer. In this case it is $500. The affiliates are paid twice a week.

What are the payment options you can choose from?

  • Payoneer
  • WebMoney
  • PayPal
  • Wire transfer
  • Paxum
  • Epayments
  • Epayservice

AdCombo - legit or scam?

Whenever I do research about a new company which I do not know, I usually use as a source of information forums where people share their experiences with them. Next, I search for blog posts mentioning the company and browse the comments below and also look for the opinions in their Facebook page.

I made the same when checking out the AdCombo reputation and found (almost) nothing but positive reactions. I found only a few negative ratings which didn't make too much sense, like this one:

So if you are looking for an affiliate network with great reputation, AdCombo is definitely one of them.

AdCombo alternatives

You should always try various affiliate networks. While for some webmasters AdCombo can be the best choice, others may achieve higher EPC (earnings per click) with another company. It depends a lot on your website niche and the traffic sources.

For this reason, I have written another blog post named Best small affiliate networks for beginners where you can find some AdCombo alternatives like Los Pollos, Everad or CPAhub to monetize your traffic.

Alternatives to the affiliate networks

There are many other ways how you can make a living with your own website or blog. Use the form below to learn about tons of website monetization alternatives, possibly even more profitable (you will receive the first lesson right now).
